The Ballard family dropped by my studio today for some family holiday portraits. Here are a few examples from their studio session.

Susanna is an actress and came by for a few fun in-studio character portraits. When I think of Finnish blondes, I think of her–especially since she’s from Finland!

I connected with Amy because she was looking for some commercial photographs to bolster her modeling portfolio. She is an actress and catalog model. She was a real blast to photograph and really knew how to "work it" in front of the camera. We took all of these in my home studio. And for a change, I experimented with using several colored background (instead of my traditional white seamless background). Amy’s makeup for this session was done by one of my favorite makeup artists, Monica Sera-Munoz.

I love photographing children–especially kids as cute as T! The neat thing about this session was how much of T’s personality showed in these photos through his expressive demeanor!

I was recently contacted to photograph several executives from retailer Anchor Blue for a cover story in Extended Retail Solutions Magazine. Here are a few portraits from the shoot. As part of this project, I also worked with the Oracle Corporation and the advertising agency Grey San Francisco.
