Burbank Area Photographer
The land occupied by the city of Burbank was once part of Rancho San Rafael and Rancho La Providencia. Dr. David Burbank (not a photographer) purchased portions of both ranchos in 1867. Later the Providencia Land, Water and Development Company purchased the area now known as Burbank for $250,000 and laid out a business district.
