Fine Art Nude Photographer

Nude photographs refer to subjects who are fully or partially nude. Among most photographers, there are three different styles or terminology applied to nude photography. Artistic nudes generally refer to images where the photographer's intent is to show the human form in an artistic light. These photos are generally not intended to result in a viewer's arousal. Implied nudes (also called concealed nudes) are photographs that feature a nude subject where their nudity is not directly shown to the camera. In this style of nude photography, the subject's hands, arms, and/or props are used to cover certain areas of the human form. Erotic nudes (also called glamour nudes) are primarily intended to express and evoke eroticism or sexuality. Some photographers use these terms interchangeably, obfuscating these different styles, often to the detriment of our profession.

Over the years, as part of a personal project, I've developed a large portfolio of artistic nude photography. While developing this portfolio and through countless hours of experimentation, I've mastered a unique style of nude photography that's appreciated by even modest viewers. Although my fine art nude style was developed to support my fine art interests, I've started to offer a few select clients access to these photography services. This style celebrates the human form and uses chiaroscuro to accentuate the positive in every subject--regardless of height, weight, gender, or body shape. I can find beauty in everyone.

Pricing Information

For nude photography, I recommend that you select my Portrait Package #1 and let me know that you desire photographs taken in my well-established fine art nude style. The details of that package are listed below:

Portrait Package #1 (Fine Art Nudes)
$200

• This package includes up to one (1) hour of coverage. Depending on the demands of my schedule, I may elect to extend this session at my discretion. I will usually photograph you for fifteen to thirty minutes and spend the remaining time retouching one or two photos. These retouched versions are intended to provide you with my unique artistic vision which goes beyond the standard image capture.
  I generally capture seventy-five (50) to two hundred (100) photographs during the course of this session. However, the final number of photos will depend on your photographic needs, lighting considerations, and the number of wardrobe changes required.
• When the session is concluded, you'll be provided with all photographs in high resolution JPG format on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. These electronic files represent your digital negatives. Please read my article on Managing Your Digital Negatives and Photographs.
