Portraits

Although I'm a photographer focusing on many areas of interest, individual and family portraits (and portraits taken as a wedding photographer) have become common elements of my daily work. Studio Portraits This gallery features photographs taken using studio lighting techniques. For the purpose of this categorization, studio lighting refers to light sources that are primarily artificial. Many of these photographs were taken in my home studio while others were captured at client locations throughout the Southwest. Natural Light Portraits Photographs found in this category feature sunlight as the primary light source. In most cases, the backgrounds for these photos are found in areas around my home studio or in local parks or green spaces. In most cases, because of limited depth of field, the backgrounds offer little to the overall compositions other than through coloration or through indistinct shapes. Models

Most models love being in front of the camera. They thrive on the experience. However, with a few exceptional models, their abilities go beyond the norm. With them I've been able to create some truly magical photos. Since it would be inappropriate to post too many photos of a single model in my traditional portrait galleries, I've created the section below to showcase the talents and wide range of photographs I've captured with a few spectacular models.

Keeira Keeira has worked with me four separate times. One one occasion, she brought along her own motorcycle (well, it was actually a friend's bike). Amy Although I've only worked with Amy once, I was smitten by how much the camera loved her face and form.
