Difficult product photography is my specialty, particularly semiopaque packaging.
Photographing these slightly opaque clear bottles of liquid is an excellent example of product photography that is somewhat difficult.
In particular, as you'll see in both containers, I used special techniques to darken the edges of the bottle in camera in order to provide shape to the images and also highlight the label.
For the product on the left, I made sure that the lighting was intentional and directional so that the brush inside the bottle would be visible in the photograph.
