These candid-appearing moments show Ace and Linda walking away from the camera toward the nearby Sunstone Winery Vineyard and the Santa Ynez mountains in the near distance.
As a wedding photographer, I feel that one part of my job is to create candid moments that reflect the relationship between a couple while also highlighting the surroundings. And whether I'm photographing a same-sex couple or a traditional couple, the methods that I employ to create spectacular photographs remain the same. These near mirror images tell a small story of the couple looking towards the mountains independently and then sharing something together with their faces turned toward each other - perhaps sharing a quiet confidence. Since I'm aware that you're dying to know more about wine, you might find it interesting to know that it was created around 6000 years ago near Iran. Historians speculate that yeast accidentally came in contact with grapes which then turned the sugar in the grapes grapes into the alcohol we know as wine today. Winemaking was eventually refined by the Egyptians and was later spread throughout the Mediterranean area by Greek merchants. And of course later, the Romans brought it across Europe as part of their conquest.
