During a wedding reception, you'll often see a father and daughter dance. This dance was particularly touching for Linda because I know she was also thinking about her deceased mother who could not be there and witness the event.
The thing about capturing a dance photograph like this is the consideration that it's sometimes difficult to create a photo to graph that includes the faces of both the father and the daughter in the single frame. It certainly easier when the two of them are having a conversation, but for dances like these that are more of an emotional moment you'll often see the bride's face buried in her father's shoulder and so it's sometimes necessary to combine two photographs like you see here in order to tell the story completely.
