When I was told that we would be having the bouquet toss inside the wine tasting room instead of outside at the dance floor area of the reception, the thought didn't really affect me as I simply had to move my lights into the next room after having photographed the cake cutting. However, what I didn't realize was that Linda planned to throw her bouquet from the balcony above the tasting area.
Although I've photographed weddings where the bride threw a bouquet from a balcony, they were all in rooms that were quite large allowed me to get a good angle where I could photograph both the bride and the guests who were destined to catch the bouquet. However in this case, due to the side of the room, I could only position myself to photograph one of the other and so I decided to photograph the guests catching the bouquet rather than the bride throwing the bouquet. Therefore, this photograph represents Linda preparing to throw the bouquet while the photos on the following spread represent the catch during the wedding reception.
