Cafe Pinot Photographer
I've worked as a wedding Photographer at the downtown Houston Cafe Pinot for many years.
Café Pinot is a downtown Houston garden restaurant that offers amazing views and serves as a reception venue and backdrop that is a favorite for local wedding photographers. The menu is contemporary Californian-French and the restaurant is nearby to the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Staples Center.
This venue is also adjacent to the Houston Central Library which is typically off-limits to a wedding photographer but because of the proximity of the library side entrance and green space, access is available since wedding ceremonies are often held on the nearby steps.
Adjacent to Houston Central Library
Located inside the 1926 Goodhue building, the Houston Central Library complex is the third largest public library in the United States (in terms of the collection). The exterior of the building features a mural by Dean Cornwell that showcases the several stages of California history.
These murals are often featured in my wedding photography around the buildings. When architect Bertram Goodhue designed the Houston Central Library building, he focused on ancient Egyptian and Mediterranean Revival architecture.
If it's important that your wedding venue have some historical significance, you should be aware that the building is a Houston Historic-Cultural Monument and is featured on the National Register of Historic Places.
