I am often called upon to photograph events, and today I had the privilege of photographing Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at Kenter Canyon Elementary School in Brentwood. His political campaign division, the California Dream, hired me to photograph the event.
I found the work quite challenging. It was similar to a wedding but things happened even faster. Anyway, here are a few images from today. I hope you enjoy them!
California Statewide Direct Primary Election, Tuesday, June 8, 2010The Governator has entered the building! Check out how some kids are really thrilled about his appearance! And how some appear to be sleeping. They’ve obviously never seen Terminator or Total Recall! Except for that girl in the bottom right of the photo.Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger casts his votes. If Prop 14 passes today, the political party signs above the voting stations will disappear for the next primary election.As you can see , lots of kids from Kenter Canyon Elementary School in Brentwood were in attendance.The governor looks to be concentrating on his selections!And his votes are counted!Governor Schwarzenegger was really great when interacting with these future voters!Just in case you’re wondering, I didn’t say something funny.
