Here you'll find some preliminary information detailing my pricing for various services. Please click the appropriate link found in each section for more specific pricing by service category.
Wedding Photography Pricing

Pricing for wedding photography can often prove intimidating. To help reduce the stress of organizing this aspect of your wedding, I've created a comprehensive set of four all-inclusive packages suitable for every budget. The pricing for these pre-packaged offerings ranges from $2,400 for the budget-minded bride to $4,800 for all-inclusive event coverage featuring multiple photographers, magazine style / flush mount albums, and large format fine art prints. Portrait Photography Pricing

For your convenience, I offer two portrait photography packages. The first package is designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring a simple headshot, environmental portrait for business, small family portrait, or pregnancy photo. The second package is designed for photo sessions requiring multiple wardrobe, lighting, and/or location changes. These packages are available at $200 and $400 respectively. In all cases you'll receive a CD or DVD containing all of your digital negatives at no additional charge. For more information, please see my section titled Portrait Photography Services and Pricing.
Event Photography Pricing

My hourly rate for most event photography is $200 per hour. Fees related to photographic publication rights, distribution, travel, printed photos, retouching, and color correction may or may not be included in this hourly rate and are negotiated on a per-event basis. If the project requires that I extend my coverage beyond what we've originally discussed, I'm happy to make myself available. Additional coverage is billed in half (1/2) hour increments at $100 per half hour. I also offer on-site printing if your event warrants the immediate distribution of photos. Product Photography Pricing

Pricing for product photography is based on the number of hours required to photograph individual items, the amount of retouching required or requested, the final presentation medium for the products, and the amount of product styling required. In many cases, pricing for product photography can be estimated by the number of items you wish to have photographed. Please note that companies and individuals who contract my services frequently wish to receive special considerations both in my time spent on their projects and the consistency with which I'll deliver the final images. Hourly Rate
My hourly rate for most types of photography is $200 per hour. Wedding photography coverage is $300 per hour. Fees related to photographic publication rights, distribution, travel, printed photos, retouching, and color correction may or may not be included in this hourly rate and are negotiated on a per-project basis. Estimates for assistants, makeup artists, hair stylists, and models are provided on a case-by-case basis. If the project requires that I extend my coverage beyond what we've originally discussed, I'm happy to make myself available. Additional coverage is billed in half (1/2) hour increments at $100 per half hour. A retainer amount of 50% is required for all projects.

Day Rate

Gift Certificates
If you'd like to give the gift of professional photographs to a colleague, friend, family member, or bride, I offer a unique photography gift certificate program that can be purchased and used in $100 increments. These gift certificates can be applied toward any of my services including wedding photography, portrait photography, pregnant mothers, and child or infant photography. I'll mail you the certificate in a beautiful gift envelope you can use to present your gift to the lucky recipient.

Paper Prints
For all photographic print orders from your portrait or wedding session, a $50 minimum purchase is required. This pricing does not include shipping (if required). Please allow one (1) to two (2) weeks for delivery.

Canvas Prints
All canvas prints from your portrait or wedding session are delivered rolled and coated to help protect against damage by ultraviolet light, water, and scratching. Please allow two (2) to four (4) weeks for delivery.

The photographs found on this Web site are available for purchase and may be displayed in your private or commercial space; however, purchasing these photographic prints does not provide you with reproduction or advertising rights. If you'd like to license one of my images, please send an e-mail or give me a call to discuss your needs. Please note that photographs found in my Portrait and Wedding galleries are usually not available for sale. Please contact me directly if you'd like to discuss an image from one of those galleries.

These prices include insured and traceable shipping via FedEx to the continental United States or express airmail shipping worldwide. Please note that sales tax will be added for California residents. If you are purchasing from outside California, I will simply refund the sales tax included in the online shopping cart purchase price.
These prices do not include framing or matting. These prints are made to order, one at a time. In most cases, you'll see delivery of most images in only one or two weeks. Please inquire if you have special needs; express orders are sometimes available. If you'd like prints in larger sizes than those listed here (up to 32" x 48" inches), I'd be glad to accommodate your requests. However, these prints will be made available by special order only and are non-refundable; prices for these larger prints vary according to the print size. Please note that I'll take every precaution to ensure your print is not damaged during shipping. However, if a problem does arise during shipping I'll replace it free of charge. I also offer a lifetime no-fade guarantee. The papers and carbon inks I use are of archival museum quality. Under normal display conditions, my color photographs are expected to last over one hundred years without noticeable fading; my black and white photographs can be expected to last up to two hundred years without fading. I'm so confident in the quality of my prints that I offer a full replacement guarantee for any print that fades during the lifetime of the original owner.
Other Details
Each print will feature an extended white border around the image. The border will extend 1/2" to 4" depending on the print size you selected. Therefore the physical print size will be slightly larger than the image size you select. The title of the photograph, the date the print was made, and the print number are presented in this border area. Each print is also hand-signed in pencil (as is appropriate and standard in fine art prints). When you matte the print, you can elect to include or exclude this information in your display; none of this information intersects with the actual image area.
Open Editions
I'm only provide open editions. Since each of my photographic prints include
the date the image was printed as well as the print number, collectors who
desire early editions can track the provenance of any photo by the date and
number found on each print.
Reproductions
For print services that require multiple prints of the same photo, I recommend professional photo bureaus like services provided Ray the Retoucher (Ray's Photo Lab). For the past 20 years, Ray's has established itself as one of the elite photographic service labs in the Southern California area. They consistently deliver some of the best printing and retouching services available. Rather than serve as a middle man and markup their services, I'd instead recommend that contact them directly. Retouching
Basic retouching includes removing blemishes, softening eye or smile lines, whitening eyes and teeth, removing minor flyaway hairs, lightening shadows, darkening glare, and converting from color to black and white or sepia tones. Advanced retouching includes changing backgrounds or clothing, altering colors of objects in the photo, and certain body slimming. Basic retouching is available for $35 for each photo while advanced retouching estimates start at $50 per photo.

Mileage & Travel
For all projects within 10 miles of Pasadena, California, no mileage or travel charges apply. For all projects outside 10 miles, clients may be billed for travel expenses. Please note that these hourly charges include fees for my time, fuel, and transportation-related expenses but exclude special charges including parking fees. These expenses related to the actual travel time may be billed based on the distance and time to travel in both directions.

For most photography services, I accept checks, money orders, cash, and secure online credit card payments through PayPal. I do not accept credit card payments for wedding-related payments. You don't need a PayPal account in order to make a payment although you must complete the transaction online. Please note that all credit card payments are subject to handling fees of 3% of the total transaction. If a refund is issued more than 60 days after initial payment is provided, the refund will not include monies related to the handling fee.
Cash, money order, and check payments presented personally or mailed are not subject to processing fees.
