This museum is the baby brother to the main Houston Museum of Natural Science in Houston’s Museum District; it’s still a stunner.

After photographing several events at this venue, I have gained insight into how to use it to its best effect. The most interesting photography opportunities at this museum are the Tyrannosaurus rex and Struthiomimus skeletons on the first floor and the dinosaur gallery on the second floor; however, the temporary exhibits are also enjoyable and sometimes offer organizers and guests unique photographic opportunities.
