Eagle Rock Photographer

As an Eagle Rock wedding photographer and a photographer offering photography services to area residents, I'm please to present you with this short history of the region. Although being a photographer takes much of my time, I've always been interested in the origins of things--and that's no exception for Eagle Rock. Eagle Rock Valley was a rural area once far removed from the bustling city of Los Angeles. In those early days, Eagle Rock was covered by the Gates Strawberry Ranch, worked by Chinese laborers (not many photographers in that group), which had replaced the grazing pastures of the Rancho San Rafael once owned by the Verdugo family. I only wish there were photographers (and cameras) around at that time who would have photographed this area of what is now known as Eagle Rock.
