I love this photograph of the bride putting on her hearing as she gets ready for her wedding day. Position of the bride in relation to the window light is particularly striking. I also enjoy the muted designs in the window shades in the far background.
The bride will soon leave and walk down one of the many long hallways of the resort on her way to a first look with her soon-to-be husband.
Whenever I photograph a bride or a groom getting ready, it always seems like their rooms are as far as they can be from the lobby. That means that I spend a lot of time walking between rooms and walking the couple out to their first look and portrait session. Now I always remind my clients to book a room that is close to the lobby whenever possible.
