Matt Riggins (DZ-3425) portrays a Tusken Raider, commonly referred to as "Sand People." Tusken Raiders are a culture of nomadic, primitive sentients indigenous to Tatooine. In their culture, exposing their flesh is forbidden and doing so is considered a disgrace. This tradition, coupled with a desert lifestyle, prompts their unique appearance in the Star Wars universe. Matt is also a member of the 501st Legion, an organization of Star Wars costume enthusiasts who contribute to local communities through charity and volunteer work.
