Dr. Michael Bender (CC-6682) is seen here portraying Captain Rex from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series. He is a sushi lover and makes his living as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Although he has a relatively sedate job today, when Michael was growing up, he wanted to be a rockstar. Although he may not have long hair and binge drink, he is living part of that dream as one of his hobbies is writing music. Some people say that he’s not bad on the guitar and carry even a tune. His favorite musicians are John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, and Slash while his proudest moment was on his wedding day as he watched his wife Stacey Bender walk down the aisle to meet him. They share their home with Gemini, a Yorkshire Terrier and Mikaela, a Chihuahua. Michael and his wife Stacey are members of the 501st Legion—an organization of Star Wars costume enthusiasts who contribute to local communities through charity and volunteer work.
