Photographing nature was my first calling as a photographer. These images were my earliest triumphs.
I grew up in a rural area of Louisiana and I've always been a great fan of the outdoors. I specialized in locations with amazing vistas where I could avoid long hikes and still create beautiful photographs.
Sometimes I'm flattered by people who visit my home, see my photographs of Yosemite, and then mistake my work Ansel Adams—an honor I most certainly don't deserve.
Given the challenges of making a living as a nature photographer, landscape photography is something that I now do only to relax when I can find the time to take breaks from paying clients.
