For this Pacific Palisades wedding at Villa Del Leon, the bride began her processional alone and then was met by both her father and her mother. I thought that was a pretty fabulous way for her to begin the wedding. As you can see, this main room in the Villa Del Leon mansion is particularly striking. And, like the room, the bride is striking as well in her black wedding dress.
One of the things that drives me nuts on a wedding day, is that many times during the wedding processional people will be looking at their cameras or their phones instead of admiring the bride. Most wedding photographers agree that asking your guests to not take photographs during the ceremony not only makes for better photographs for you, but it also helps your guests and family truly experience the ceremony rather than experience it from behind an electronic device. Another thing that drives me batty is when wedding guests where distracting apparel and then sit on the aisle for the ceremony. When ushers are present and are seating guests, I will often suggest that they seat individuals wearing distracting colors or patterns on outside seating since the people seated in the aisles will be featured in most of the ceremony photography and if there apparel is distracting, then that will cause a viewers eyes to wander away from the most important aspect of a ceremony photograph, the bride and groom. Villa Del Leon is located in Pacific Palisades, California.
